Insurance for all hires available for £1
We are pleased to introduce the £1 insurance policy for all our customers peace of mind.
Insurance for Hire Equipment
From when equipment is taken away from Futurist until it is returned (or delivered and collected) the responsibility for the equipment becomes that of the hirer. Therefore we strongly recommend that you have insurance to cover the full replacement value, of all the equipment. Futurist Sound & Lighting ltd can extend its insurance policy to cover the equipment whilst under your responsibility. For the set fee of £1 per hire, Futurist can offer insurance with an excess of £250 per claim.
The policy covers: “Accidental loss of or damage to equipment arising from any cause not excluded by the policy.”
Principle Exclusions:
* Terrorism, War Risks
* Wear, tear, gradual deterioration
* Intentional acts or willful neglect
* Unaccountable losses discovered on inventory or stock checks
* Excluded parts – Light sources and other expendable parts
* Insufficiency or unsuitability of packing or preparation of property insured
* Losses from unattended vehicles subject to compliance with vehicle warranty
